Quality Assurance Coordinator

- Take overall accountability for the quality of workshop jobs
- Inspect jobs in progress within the workshop to ensure compliance with drawings, standards, and procedures
- Develop Inspection Test Plans (ITP’s) and other Quality Control documents as required
- Perform the disposition and documentation of non-conformances
- Ensure all measurement and inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with relevant codes, specifications, and customer requirements
- Background in Quality Assurance and HSE.
- Experience in mechanical/fabrication industry in addition to experience within the established ISO 9001 quality assurance system is preferable.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications to determine compliance
- Effectively use a variety of measuring instruments
- Well developed written and oral communication skills
- Ability to conduct Internal Auditing
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Sound judgement and decision-making capabilities
