At the heart of HCA's trusted and reliable equipment range lies a team of talented and dedicated people committed to providing industry-leading after sales service and reliable solutions.The OpportunitySupporting branch operations based in Revesby, Newcastle, Gunnedah and Muswellbrook, scope exists for flexibility regarding which branch is used as a base, but you will be required to spend time in each location in accordance with business needs. Reporting to the National HR Manager in Parramatta, your focus will be to work collaboratively with your stakeholders in the branches delivering both operational and strategic HR solutions. You will provide trusted and expert HR advice to all levels in the company and work as part of a broader HR team which includes recruitment, training, and safety. Your superior influencing, technical skills, consultation, and advice will contribute to teams and culture initiatives company wide.As a key member of the National HR team your role will include:
  • Industrial & Employee Relations - Provide advice to managers and supervisors on all matters related to relevant awards and EBAs, current workplace legislation, dispute resolution and employee relations, and support enterprise bargaining as required.
  • Recruitment & On-boarding - Support stakeholders and managing the on-boarding and induction of new employees.
  • Performance Management- Provide coaching, advice, and support to managers on performance planning and professional development processes.
  • Learning & Development - Assist managers in determining appropriate training to close performance/behaviour gaps, for current role or career progression and direct to training department where appropriate.
  • Remuneration & Benefits - Provide information to employees and assist in payroll support for queries regarding award interpretation, pay clarification and associated penalties and benefits.
  • Participate in national, regional, or global HR Projects as appropriate.
  • General HR Administration - such as recruitment requisitions, new starter packs and employment contracts, bonus letters, salary/wage increase notifications etc.
About YouYou will have a passion for all things HR with a strong focus on industrial relations. To be successful in this role you will have 3-5 years' experience as a HR generalist with strong business acumen and a dedicated ability to positively enable our people to be the best that they can be. You will need to have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources, management, or related business discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a HR Advisor in a multi-site business, with exposure to most facets of the employment life cycle.
  • Solid knowledge and ability to interpret and provide advice regarding the application of the Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements, Policies and Procedures
  • Experience with supporting enterprise bargaining
  • Ability to work autonomously whilst contributing to the success of the larger HR team.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to build trusted working relations that enables influence amongst business leaders.
  • Some travel at short notice may be required from time to time to the Gunnedah / Muswellbrook region.
