- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from initial scope to completion
- Carry out site investigations, analyse relevant data, and produce detailed factual and interpretive reports
- Design foundations, slope stabilisation, retaining structures, and other geotechnical elements, in compliance with Australian standards
- Supervise construction phase services, including earthworks monitoring and advising contractors during foundation installation
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical growth within the team
- Prepare proposals, maintain strong client relationships, and uphold technical accuracy
- Ensure adherence to company’s quality systems and regulatory standards
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven and extensive professional experience in geotechnical consulting roles
- Strong grasp of soil and rock mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, and earthworks
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., PLAXIS, gINT, SLOPE/W, SLIDE) is highly valued
- Demonstrated experience preparing geotechnical reports and proposals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Aptitude for multitasking and delivering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
