Residents value staff spending time with them and talking to them whilst cleaning duties are undertaken.This varied and interesting role which may include transferring patients within the hospital, linen maintenance & medical supply restocking, cooking and/or preparing light refreshments of patients, delivering meals to patients and residents and collection of trays after meals, loading and unloading the dishwasher, general cleaning as required including rooms and equipment and assisting generally as directed by nursing staff.You will need to be reliable, punctual and energetic, physically fit, have a caring and supportive attitude and use your good communication skills to be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team. The successful applicant will work closely with all departments in the hospital. You will have the ability and willingness to work shifts, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.In a small, close knit team of 9 staff you will be well supported and your dedication will be seen and appreciated.
