Managing a team of 15+. 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD The Opportunity:From day one, you will receive support and guidance from an Operations Manager, who will provide the resources needed to run a successful café operation while helping you understand how to achieve success in line with company goals.As the Café Manager, you will coach and lead a team of five across both front and back of house, while taking an active front-of-house role during service.The business's core customer base includes corporate clientele, local shoppers, nearby businesses, and general foot traffic from the main street.The successful leader will be someone who can pivot seamlessly between customer service, food handling, coffee making, staff training, and building rapport with regulars.The Candidate:

A minimum 2 years experience as a Assistant Manager or Cafe Manager is essential
Barista trained is preferred
Strong people management skills - encouraging leader who is there to motivate yet has the ability to act on informal and formal matters that happen during service
A leader who values repeat business and corporate clients is important
Food Safety/Handling certified is essential
