Based in Fortitude Valley, this is a full-time leadership position focused on stock control and inventory management within a busy retail environment. As the Assistant Store Manager - Stock Control, you will oversee stock processes, warranties, and online order fulfilment while also contributing to the wider operations of the store. Working closely with the Store Manager and leadership team, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, maintaining compliance, and supporting a culture built on teamwork, integrity, and a love for the outdoors.Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in stock control, inventory, or logistics within a retail setting
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead, support, and train team members in stock-related processes
- Knowledge of inventory systems (e.g. Pronto or similar) desirable
- Passion for outdoor activities and familiarity with outdoor gear and equipment
- Calm, collaborative, and detail-focused with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Awareness of sustainability practices in stock and store operations (desirable)
- First Aid Certificate advantageous
