Mechanical Officer

We're on the lookout for a Mechanical Officer to join this growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of hands-on mechanical experience who's keen to develop their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- Respond quickly to mechanical breakdowns and help reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on the floor
- Work closely with production and other departments to ensure minimal disruption.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
Some hands-on experience in a mechanical role – ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn on the job
- A team player who understands the importance of safety and compliance
- Trade qualifications or relevant mechanical training (preferred but not essential)
