We’re looking for Mechanical Trades Assistants to join a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This role is a great chance to get involved in large-scale construction, support skilled trades, and gain valuable site experience.Who you will be working with

Duties and responsibilities
  • Assist with installation, racking, and component placement
  • Use hand and power tools to support tradespeople
  • Help with loading, unloading, and moving materials
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas
  • Follow instructions and site safety procedures
We are looking for someone with
  • Previous construction or site-based experience
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • White Card (mandatory)
  • Bobcat, Skid Steer EWP licences a bonus
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Experience with mechanical or structural components – highly regarded
