The Bankstown Assertive Outreach Team is seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Mental Health Professional to join our dynamic service. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering recovery-oriented, strengths-based care to individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness.Operating under a Flexible Assertive Community Treatment model, the team provides support across a 7-day rotating roster, offering varied shifts (8:30am-5:00pm, 10:00am-6:30pm, and 2:00pm-10:30pm) to meet the needs of consumers and carers.This role is ideal for clinicians who thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment, are eager to learn, and are committed to making a meaningful impact in the community.The Community Mental Health Service is committed to providing a supportive environment where staff are empowered to achieve their full potential. You will be based at Bankstown, however future opportunities may also present at Liverpool, Ingleburn, Campbelltown, Ambarvale, Fairfield, Bowral and Wollondilly based mental health services.What we can offer you:

The Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery orientated assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team and coordinating consumers' recovery plans. The role is also responsible for non-clinical tasks including participation in quality improvement activities, clinical supervision and participation in administrative responsibilities as required.Classifications:

- Relevant qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or qualified Social Worker eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or CSU Graduates: Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health).
