- Conduct assessments of insured vehicles using virtual assessing and/or causation reports to determine cost-effective and safe repair methods
- Produce detailed reports - determine cause, coverage, damage and best repair methods
- Third Party repair costs - Collaborate effectively with the Fair and Reasonable Assessing team, Settlements, and Recoveries teams to address challenges related to third-party repair costs.
- Post Repair - Specialise in assessing post-repair vehicles across a range of accident severity levels.
- Review scope of works - use your knowledge to provide expert reports to ensure the most cost effective and timely method of repairs
- Build and maintain relationships – internal and external stakeholders including local authorities and third-party repairers
- Negotiate - define the scope of work and associated costing with our repairers
- Minimum of five years in assessing in the insurance industry (Essential)
- Panel Beating or automotive spray-painting qualifications and/or working in a similar position is essential (Essential)
- Computer/technology competence (skills testing may be required)
- Ability to thrive in fast paced high pressure environments and ambition to grow alongside the business
- You will be required to complete background checks and proof of full working rights in Australia to be able to work in Insurance
