- We currently have a great opportunity for an After-Hours Nurse Manager to join the Broken Hill Health Service Management team.

- In the role you will be managing a vibrant, skilled, team of nurses and midwives to achieve exceptional health outcomes for some of the most vulnerable communities in NSW.
- You will be responsible for effective service delivery, culture and service improvements, sustainable access and collaboration in health care.

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Current Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Appropriate qualifications in management from Post Graduate to tertiary (Masters level) with five years full time equivalent post qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation, and the ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff to achieve service and professional goals through recognised change management processes.
- Proven ability to function effectively as part of a senior management team and to work successfully with other professionals and disciplines in the management of health care services.
- Broad clinical experience and operational management expertise at a senior level within a health care environment, including strategic planning, the development, implementation & evaluation of organisational Strategic & Business Plans and Project Management.
- Demonstrated understanding of the role, function & funding of public hospital within the Australian and NSW Health Systems.
- Current drivers license.
