The OpportunityAre you an experienced Senior Supervisor with a strong background in Building and Construction? We have an exciting opportunity based in Cairns (or surrounding areas within driving distance).Please note: This is NOT a FIFO role and no relocation assistance is available.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supervisor to join our team, supporting minor works projects. You will be responsible for producing high-quality tenders, quotations and ensuring all documentation is compliant with industry best practices and client requirements.Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality tenders and quotations for minor works projects.
Prepare tender documentation ensuring compliance with departmental and industry standards.
Utilise computer-based estimating packages for client quotations and estimates.
Prepare accurate and timely estimates, quotations, material lists, and construction programs.
Assist with the development and research of best practices in estimating, costing, and contract management.
Work collaboratively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to meet project requirements.
Maintain a healthy and safe work environment, adhering to HR practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, and workplace health and safety standards.

About You

Solid building and construction trade background.
Strong knowledge and experience in Estimating.
High proficiency with computer-based estimating software.
Hold a current Car License
Clean Criminal History is mandatory.
Must reside in Cairns or a surrounding area within reasonable driving distance.
