- Helping train our tigers using protected contact methods
- Performing essential husbandry tasks like feeding, preparing diets, and enriching animal habitats
- Keeping the tiger enclosures and Tiger Island clean and well-presented
- Engaging guests with fun, educational talks about tigers and conservation
- Supporting our Wildlife team with husbandry duties for our native animal collection
- Proven experience in wildlife care, working with native, exotic, or non-domestic animals (experience with large carnivores would be advantageous)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in zoological or animal sciences (preferred)
- Strong background in animal husbandry
- Friendly, confident communicator who enjoys engaging with guests
- Committed to teamwork, safety, and high standards of animal welfare
- Physically fit and capable of handling hands-on, active tasks safely
- Q-Fever vaccination required
- Must hold a current driver’s license
- Experience in animal training and enrichment is a bonus
- Must hold or be prepared to obtain a HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate
