Our OpportunityWork Location: Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.Roster: Monday to FridayThis is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.At Fortescue, we know our people are our greatest strength - and that includes our payroll team.We're looking for a Payroll Officer who's detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about delivering accurate and timely payroll services that keep our diverse workforce supported and valued.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess salaries, allowances, contract changes, terminations, and incentive payments with accuracy and careEnsure compliance with all Federal and State payroll legislationManage employee leave entitlements and deductions, including payments to external bodiesHandle superannuation payments and remittances in line with legal requirementsKeep payroll information confidential and secure, respecting privacy lawsInterpret and apply Award conditions correctly and fairlyQualifications and ExperienceExperience as a Payroll Officer or similar role, with strong data entry and validation skillsExceptional attention to detail and accuracy - you take pride in your workProficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)Commitment to excellent customer service and continuous improvementExperience with SAP payroll systems is a big plusPrevious experience in mining or resources is beneficial but not essentialAbout UsBe part of something big.
