Here, you'll be part of the team, empowered to explore more, experience more and supported by your leader to grow and develop.The RoleWe're looking for a proactive and organised Housekeeping Coordinator to join our Promenade Hotel team. This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating daily housekeeping activities, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring smooth service delivery across our premium hotel environment.You'll be the central point of contact for internal departments, managing room allocations, guest requests, and lost property enquiries. This hybrid role also includes supervisory responsibilities, making it ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service.Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate daily room allocations and task sheets for Room Attendants and Service Attendants
  • Manage lost property enquiries and maintain accurate records using ITRAK
  • Monitor and respond to internal department calls and guest requests
  • Support administrative tasks including reporting, amenities tracking and shift handovers
  • Conduct room inspections and assist with cleaning/inspection duties during PM shifts
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and escalate issues as needed
About youYou're a confident communicator and natural organiser with a strong attention to detail. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy being the go-to team member for coordination and support.
  • Previous Housekeeping leadership or office experience is highly desirable
  • Systems and computer proficient including sound understanding of Microsoft Suite applications
  • The ability to work Full Time across a 7-day rotating roster, AM & PM shifts
  • A keen eye for detail and an open attitude to receiving feedback
  • Demonstrated organisation and excellent communication skills
