
Venue Technician

- Part-time
- Set up and operate audio, lighting, vision and staging equipment for performances and corporate events.
- Work closely with touring companies, hirers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality productions.
- Support the Front of House team and act as Duty Person for selected events.
- Carry out inductions, equipment checks and risk management to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain technical assets and infrastructure to keep the venues running at their best.
- Contribute to a positive team environment, supporting casual staff and volunteers.
- Proven experience in operating theatrical and event technical systems (audio, lighting, staging, vision).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to think calmly under pressure.
- Experience supervising and training casual or event staff.
- Sound knowledge of WHS, risk management and emergency procedures in a live venue environment.
- Rigging, Working at Heights, or Test & Tag accreditation
- Willingness and availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Class C Driver’s Licence.
- First Aid Certificate.
- A good level of fitness and safe manual handling skills.
