- Degree qualified in either Civil, Geotechnical or Mine Engineering coupled with experience in geotechnical/tailings dam design, construction and/or operation.
- Experience in geotechnical assessments of dam stability and Critical State Soil Mechanics.
- Solid understanding of internationally recognised tailings management standards and best practice guidelines such as ANCOLD, MAC/CDA, GISTM.
- Thorough comprehension of soil and tailings characterisation (in situ tests, sampling and laboratory testing).
- Strong skills in tailings operation and monitoring systems.
