Maintenance Supervisor

- Oversee and schedule preventative and reactive maintenance using the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
- Lead maintenance staff and ensure work is completed to a high standard in line with QMS procedures.
- Respond to breakdowns, assist with fault finding, and minimise production downtime.
- Maintain appropriate levels of spare parts and manage inventory.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Engineering Manager on equipment performance and site conditions.
- Assist with capital projects, new equipment installations, and attend audit meetings as required.
- Travel to other sites for maintenance and repair work when necessary.
- A trade qualification as an electrician, mechanical fitter, or in a similar discipline
- 5+ years of experience leading a maintenance team in a food manufacturing environment
- 5+ years experience maintaining electromechanical machinery, including mechanical and electrical fault finding
- A solid understanding of HACCP, GMP, and automated machinery, including PLC programming
- A current open manual driver's licence
- Desirable: A forklift license and TIG welding or fabrication skils
- A strong and confident leader with the ability to guide and support a high-performing maintenance team
- Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions under pressure
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills
