About The CompanyA fantastic opportunity is available for a detail-oriented and motivated Container Control Officer to oversee the gate-in and administrative control of container movements. This is a full-time, on-site role where your coordination skills will ensure the smooth flow of trucks and containers through the depot.About The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Container Gate Clerk.Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Processing the arrival of containers and trucks, ensuring details are accurately recorded
  • Liaising with truck drivers and forklift operators to manage traffic flow
  • Identifying and addressing discrepancies during the gate-in process
  • Enforcing depot procedures and ensuring a safe working environment
  • Handling releases and acceptances via the 1-Stop system
  • Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and providing excellent customer service
  • Responding to customer queries via phone and email efficiently
About YouThe successful candidate will have:
  • Previous experience in a container park or transport operations (highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with shipping lines, transport companies, and the 1-Stop system
  • Strong computer literacy and high attention to detail
  • Effective verbal communication using two-way radios
  • Understanding of WH&S protocols with a proactive mindset
You will also have:
  • Team player with a positive and friendly attitude
  • Confident working with truck drivers and other depot staff
  • Flexible and able to work overtime as required
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality service
