This pivotal role will oversee the operational management of various projects across pavements, stabilisation, and minor civil works, ensuring Zero Harm, cost efficiency, and quality delivery in line with contract specifications. Occasional regional travel is required.As a preferred supplier for DIT SA, operate under the GC21 standards and are looking for people familiar with it. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to tendering for DIT-specific work, with a focus on delivering excellence across South Australia's infrastructure.What you'll bringProven experience managing civil infrastructure projects, including resource planning and project schedulingSolid understanding of tender preparation and negotiation processesStrong grasp of Project Management fundamentalsAbility to manage, supervise, and schedule activities of Project Engineers, Supervisors, labour workforce, subcontractors, and on-site admin staffCommitment to Zero Harm work practicesExcellent planning, organisational, and time management skillsDemonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate effectivelyAdvanced computer proficiency, especially in MS Project and ExcelFamiliarity with GC21 contracts and working within DIT SA frameworksDowner is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
