- Complete a comprehensive Intern Training Program, participate in weekend rosters as required, and take on varied responsibilities that challenge and expand your pharmacy expertise within a supportive team.
- Play an active role in the provision of clinical pharmacy practice, dispensing, drug distribution and drug information under the supervision of experienced pharmacists, while learning quality control processes and contributing to meaningful pharmacy research projects.
- Develop the confidence to assess and optimise drug therapies by considering medications, conditions, and individual patient needs to ensure the best outcomes.
- Learn to communicate clearly and effectively, helping patients understand their medications and supporting healthcare professionals with ongoing education.
- Completion of a Pharmacy degree, eligible for AHPRA provisional registration and Intern Training Program enrolment, with availability to work weekends as per roster requirements.
- Strong foundation in pharmacology with the ability to apply knowledge confidently in real-world clinical settings.
- Outstanding communication skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams at all levels.
- Solid understanding of the hospital pharmacist's role, including professional, ethical, and legal responsibilities.
- Self-motivated team player with excellent problem-solving, time management, and commitment to ongoing professional growth.
