We are seeking an experienced and motivated Staff Specialist in Anaesthesia to join a forward-thinking Anaesthetic Department that provides high-quality perioperative care across a broad range of specialties.About the roleAs a Staff Specialist, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive anaesthesia and perioperative medicine services across elective, emergency and acute care settings.
- Contribute to clinical leadership, quality improvement initiatives, and safe patient care outcomes.
- Provide education and supervision to medical students, registrars, and multi-disciplinary clinical staff.
- Participate in the on-call roster, supporting a wide range of surgical and critical care services.
- Attractive remuneration package: $262,376 – $354,479 per annum (full-time equivalent, dependent on experience), with Senior Specialist rates considered.

- Strong links with retrieval services and regional facilities.
- Specialist registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia as an Anaesthetist, or via an approved international specialist pathway.
- Broad recent experience in anaesthesia, including acute pain and perioperative medicine, with demonstrated expertise in regional anaesthesia.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- A commitment to teaching, training, research and continuous quality improvement.
- Willingness to participate in the on-call roster and provide timely on-site support.
