Projects up to $20m+ Our client is a well-established Tier 3 civil contractor, that have a strong presence in both the public and private sectors, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Project Engineer to join their growing business. As the Senior Project Engineer you’ll be joining a thriving business where you will be responsible for managing on site programming, safety coordination, subcontractor management and supervision of all technical aspects of the project. You will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects. Types of projects include government projects, road projects, streetscaping, landscaping, and general civil construction. Typical values from $1m - $20m. Projects are located in and around Sydney Metro Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working on tenders Planning and scheduling of construction activities Assist with the preparation of claims and manage disputes when necessary Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management Preparation of management reports Resolving site issues in a timely manner Liaising with key clients and stakeholders Coordinating internal and external resources Recruitment and mentoring of teams Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar 3+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5m to $20m+ Project management qualifications will be advantageous Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate Effective problem solving abilities Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations High level of organisation and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click on “Apply” to submit your resume.
