Access theAbout the roleAct as a research officer to support the reducing hospital re-admission for high-risk cardiology patients study.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
  • Manage an allocated research workload in accordance with established clinical and departmental protocols, policies and procedures; utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards, demonstrating a high level of independence, clinical judgement and complex decision making.
  • Lead research/clinical trial monitoring and auditing internally and externally as required to meet regulatory and scientific requirements.
  • Demonstrate high level knowledge and ability to apply relevant legislation, guidelines, standards and acts to appropriately ensure safe and professional research conduct.
  • Actively promote the patient advocacy role by independently implementing the ongoing process of informed consent and ensuring patient's confidentiality and autonomy is maintained.
  • Oversee the completion of accurate case report forms with verifiable source documentation and data entry with a high degree of independence.
