We're looking for an Associate Structural Engineer with a strong grasp of the local market, commercial insight, and the drive to help grow something meaningful.The Role
As an Associate Structural Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Leading project delivery from concept design through to construction, ensuring technical excellence
- Contributing to strategic planning and growth initiatives
- Overseeing project financials including fee proposals, resourcing, budgeting, and profitability
- Managing and mentoring engineers and drafters within the team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Peer review of design work and documentation to ensure quality and compliance
- Representing the business in client meetings, presentations, and industry forums
- Contributing to the continual improvement of systems, processes, and design standards
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum of 8+ years of relevant structural engineering experience within the Australian market
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Structural/Civil Engineering)
- CPEng accreditation
- Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing teams and/ or projects
- Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships
- A track record of driving business performance through technical and commercial contributions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and influence
- A proactive and strategic mindset with a passion for growing business and people
