We are on the hunt for experienced Assemblers / Production Assistants / Factory Hands to join our client, an iconic Australian Doors manufacturing business in Dandenong South. These positions will be on a full-time ongoing casual basis and include assembly and production of high-end doors.Working in a team, your other responsibilities will include:
  • Processing materials and assembling components to required specifications and quality standards using a variety of hand tools, power tools, machinery and various saws
  • Operating and cleaning production machinery/equipment after use
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operating Manuals in an efficient manner
  • Supporting team members to ensure production goals and deadlines are achieved
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to demonstrate:
  • Ability to lift up to 25+ kg
  • Mechanical aptitude and an ability to read basic assembly diagrams, with strong attention to detail ensuring correct assembly, positions, and orientation.
  • Current Driver's License and own reliable vehicle
  • Previous experience working with hand and power tools in a similar role, or trades-assistant role operating production machinery will be advantageous.
  • Experience using a table saw and thicknesser with Timber would be highly regarded
