THE OPPORTUNITYDue to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has become available for an in-store Trade Sales Consultant based in Canning Vale for a motivated and career orientated professional to build and maintain key relationships with our valued Trade customers. This position involves working as part of our collaborative Retail store team - reporting to the Store Manager.This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a rotating roster which will include some weekend work, including weekend loading rates.RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintaining and developing relationships with all assigned customers
Identifying and developing new customers and confident in cold calling
Growing sales
Identifying new product and market opportunities
Liaising with the operations team to improve product design and customer service
Preparing project quotations and sales proposals
Adherence to Stratco safety and other policies and procedures
Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

A proven sales track record, preferably in the building or hardware industry
Be action oriented and able to effectively communicate at all levels
Be a hands on, practical person with a good technical ability
Estimating experience would be highly valued but not essential
Be honest, self motivated and have a passionate desire to be successful
Have the ability to work in a team environment
Have excellent business building and prospecting skills
Computer literacy
The ability to manage multiple customers and priorities
A team player that has a passion for retail sales!
