- assisting with the design and delivery of Practice training sessions, for example internal sessions or training on financial services reforms, compliance and risk management;
- facilitating development and execution of technical solutions and document process improvements;
- drafting and maintaining precedents;
- being a champion for style guide compliance;
- working cross-functionally to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms;
- conducting file audits in conjunction with the Risk team;
- writing key matter summaries for business development;
- maintaining awareness of legislative and case law changes and providing regular updates to the Banking & Finance practice group;
- preparing and delivering legal educational training; and
- delivering style, precedents and writing training to the firm.
- at least four years of post-admission experience;
- current or recent banking or financial services drafting experience, for example, loan and security agreements, financial product regulation, licensing and compliance, or funds management advice;
- excellent document drafting skills and high attention to detail;
- proven ability to project manage;
- strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- ability to prioritise and follow up tasks autonomously;
- ability to work effectively cross-functionally;
- keen interest in knowledge sharing and precedent development and style compliance; and
- eagerness to learn and test new solutions.
