- Lead technical initiatives in cream cheese and powders.
- Collaborate with sales and customers to identify opportunities and resolve issues.
- Drive product and process optimisation to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with engineering on plant upgrades and validations.
- Leverage beneficial tariff arrangements to maximise product value.
- Provide technical leadership across R&D projects.
- Communicate technical insights across teams and stakeholders.
- Engage with suppliers and global Saputo divisions to drive innovation.
- Collaborate with Corporate Technical Services for local expertise.
- Work closely with domestic and international sales teams.
- Build strong relationships with key customers to support growth.
- Understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Tertiary qualification in Dairy Science or related field.
- Ideally,10+ years in dairy manufacturing; 5+ years in R&D or technical roles.
- Deep knowledge of dairy product manufacturing, especially powders and cream cheese.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Expertise in chemical and microbiological data interpretation.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and strategic delivery.
- Commercial acumen and experience supporting sales growth.
- Understanding of international trade and tariff arrangements.
