I'm currently partnering with a well-established civil contractor that has a strong track record of delivering critical infrastructure across NSW, with a focus on water, utilities, and broader civil works.This business is known for its genuine team culture, strong leadership, and steady project pipeline-with long-term clients in both government and private sectors. They're now looking to appoint an experienced Project Engineer to join their growing team as they continue delivering high-profile utility and water infrastructure projects.About the CompanyExperience delivering complex infrastructure projects across NSW. Their expertise spans roads, bridges, tunnelling, rail, and utilities-including water and sewer infrastructure.They have long-standing relationships with Transport for NSW, Sydney Water, and several Tier 1 builders, and are continuing to expand due to new project wins.The RoleYou'll be responsible for supporting the delivery of civil infrastructure projects with a strong utilities focus, particularly water and sewer works. Working alongside a team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Supervisors, you'll ensure safe, on-time, and high-quality project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the delivery and coordination of civil and water infrastructure projectsManage subcontractors, materials, and site logisticsOversee compliance with project specifications, safety, and environmental requirementsTrack progress, prepare reports, and manage documentation (ITPs, RFIs, QA, etc.)Liaise with clients, consultants, and field teams to resolve technical issuesContribute to cost control, planning, and risk management activitiesWhat We're Looking ForA degree in Civil Engineering or related field3-5+ years' experience in civil construction, ideally within utilities or water infrastructureStrong understanding of site-based construction methodologies and sequencingExperience working on Sydney Water or similar utility provider projects is highly desirableExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA proactive, solutions-focused mindset and team-first attitudeWhy This Role?✅ Work with a highly respected contractor with stable, long-term projects
