- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, with a proven track record of working with various metals and welding techniques.
- Required to present evidence of qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent.
- Applicants must provide documentation including references from previous employment, pay slips, a valid passport, and police clearance.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the specifications and requirements of the fabrication process.
- Measure, cut, bend, shape, assemble, and weld metal components to create the final product.
- Utilise a variety of tools and equipment, such as hand tools, welding equipment, and metal fabrication machinery, to perform fabrication tasks.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure fabricated items meet the required standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions to improve fabrication processes and product quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
- Keep accurate records of materials used, fabrication processes undertaken, and the final outcomes.
- Extensive experience in metal fabrication, evidenced by at least 5 years in the field.
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to work with a range of metals.
