In the role of Senior Consultant (Transition to Operations Specialist), you will be expected to have excellent knowledge and experience of operational readiness processes, with all artifacts and techniques. This role will interface with client and will involve coordinating business and technology stakeholders to facilitate readiness of applications for operations.

For you to be successful in obtaining this role you will need to possess the following:
- Experience in executing operational readiness programs in conjunction with client teams and in accordance with industry best practices.
- Experience in developing structured and realistic operational readiness plan, in conjunction with all departments and all organization levels, allowing its implementation management using connected and high-performance tools.
- Well versed in planning, coordinating, and facilitating meetings and workshops relating to Transition to Operations.
- Experience in assisting with the project risk evaluation and management processes.
- Experience in using class leading operational readiness systems and tools, as well as industry specific expertise to execute the operational readiness scope of work.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and communicate with clients, teams and other stakeholders in technical and non-technical language.
- Business acumen and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships.
- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in the IT industry.
- Experience in managing Transition to Operations in the mining domain.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Prior experience of working with applications in the mining or energy domains.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
