- Demonstrated evidence of full registration as a dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and in good standing with the Dental Board of Australia.
- A postgraduate degree relevant to the discipline and/or a further qualification in the scholarship of teaching and learning, or a record of academic/professional achievement of national standing through contributions relevant to Dentistry or professional activities.
- For appointment at Level C or D, a doctoral qualification relevant to clinical dentistry and a record of research achievement of national standing, through significant research contributions in an area relevant to the discipline
- A record of significant achievement relevant to clinical dentistry at a national level, in the scholarship of academic leadership, teaching and learning, research and/or professional activity.
- Significant experience and knowledge in clinical supervision and success in delivering high-quality student-centred teaching.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong professional relationships and networks to achieve objectives.
