- Develop strong support to “People Management”, especially appraisals, training and competence development of personnel. Also identify, support and follow-up talented employees with a good growth potential within Epiroc.
- Developing and implementing the appropriate product and market strategies and priorities in each region in Australia
- Ensuring total market coverage for our entire portfolio, through a blend of direct sales and independent distribution.
- Ensuring customer loyalty towards Epiroc Australia by providing the best product support in the business, irrespective of distribution channel, customer segment, and customer location
- Personally demonstrate a clear and visible leadership, internally throughout the Epiroc Australia organization, as well as with customers
- Team player and able to work and communicate in a collaborative way
- This position will work as an active member of the Australian Customer Center Leadership Team in helping to manage the company.
- Develop and implement the appropriate market and sales strategies for the business line, in line with divisional goals and guidelines.
- This position has full P & L and Balance Sheet responsibility for the OBK Business Line
- Conduct and maintain updated territory management plans. Apply the appropriate territory management practices to optimize market coverage, sales actions and product support.
- Coach, support and guide our organization that work with OBK products, including direct supervision of those that predominantly work with the OBK Business Line.
- Guide and support our service organization to further develop the aftermarket business for capital equipment. Work closely with the aftermarket team to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Prudently monitor and manage the asset investments related to the OBK business
- Deliver dominant market share in each segment:
- Deliver the agreed upon annual targets for:
- Bachelor's degree or extensive relevant experience in the mineral exploration business in lieu of formal education
- Minimum ten years of experience in the exploration business in Australia or Internationally is required
- Direct sales and product management experience in Australia or Internationally is considered a plus
- Solid technical knowledge of the OBK product offering.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook is required
- Advanced verbal, written and presentation communication skills with a strong customer focus are required
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- Ability to lead change through a large organization consisting of both in house and remote employees
- Demonstrate excellence in development and execution of strategy
- Must be available to travel at least 50% of the time
- Strong analytical skills; full knowledge and understanding of Profit and Loss statements
