We are focused on creating an inclusive workplace with the right people in the right roles, who are proactive, empowered and appropriately rewarded.We strive to be a workplace filled with employees who live and breathe our values of PEARLS (Proactive, for Everyone, Accountable, Respectful, Listening, Sustainable).Job DescriptionAbout the Position:An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced professional to join the Shire of Broome in the role of Senior Technical Officer.The Senior Technical Officer will be responsible for providing specialist technical expertise, overseeing operational planning and scheduling, managing contracts and procurement, and supporting the delivery of the Annual Works Program to ensure effective, efficient, and community-focused services.A full position description can be found here:This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday - Friday and a monthly RDO.About You:Our ideal candidate will have a background in civil infrastructure, project management, or asset management, with experience in operational planning, contract management, and service delivery. You'll be confident using project management tools, skilled in budgeting and reporting, and able to balance competing priorities while working collaboratively with stakeholders.A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical field, along with a current C Class driver's licence and White Card, are required. Additional qualifications in engineering, continuous improvement, WHS, or leadership will be highly regarded.Don't meet every single requirement?   • $84.9k - $90.2k base salary per annum (depending on experience and qualification)
