The role will be based primarily in Sydney but will support our broader Australian teams across NSW, WA and beyond.As a member of a national team we will provide you with valuable experience working on a range of legacy industrial, fuel infrastructure, residential development and commercial sites.About youAs part of Ramboll you will work with a group of experienced consultants in our Environment and Health team. For this role, your starting points are:2+ years of professional experience in contaminated land management or a closely related field.Degree in environmental science or engineering related disciplineFull drivers' licenceAbility to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently.Willingness to work independently with minimal supervision.Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of our valued clients.Willingness to undertake field work with regular travel within NSW and interstateAbout the PositionYour responsibilities in this role will include:Site and field based environmental data acquisition in Sydney, regional NSW and occasionally elsewhere in AustraliaMeasurement, maintenance and calibration of equipment for surface water, groundwater, soil, sediment, soil vapour, noise, air quality and meteorologyContribution to the preparation of contaminated land assessment reportsManagement of large data sources, including documenting data, recording observations and use of database and digitilisation toolsDeveloping a network with Ramboll specialists across Australia.Additional InformationAbout our Environment & Health divisionRamboll develops innovative, scientifically sound solutions that help increase liveability by reducing pollution and restoring natural environments.
