This position can be located in either Australia or New Zealand and reports to the Senior Module Leader of the Capstone module in the Chartered Accountants (CA) Program. Capstone is the final module in the CA Program where the focus is on the development of competencies that candidates will need to succeed in the professional environment. Capstone uses a blended learning approach that combines pre-workshop activities and workshop activities to help candidates achieve the modules’ learning outcomes.

The Opportunity
  • Developing learning materials and assessments that are relevant, learner centric and responsive to the market
  • Working with the facilitator pool that support the Capstone module to ensure a high-quality candidate experience
  • Generating and implementing ideas for innovating and transforming the learning experience based on leading educational practice, stakeholder feedback and module and program data
  • Maintaining and creating relationships with CA members, employer and industry groups, universities and government bodies with the aim of ensuring the learning addresses emerging needs
  • Continually monitoring the material and identifying opportunities for enhancement and working closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure activities are timely, relevant and practical
Proven experience and skills in:
  • Minimum of five years CA experience in professional practice or commerce
  • Experience with writing technical accounting learning materials and assessments
  • Have a proven ability to work under pressure and be adaptable to achieve deadlines within a highly dynamic environment
  • Keep up with current developments and emerging issues in accounting and business and the future of the profession
  • Member of CAANZ or GAA body
  • Bachelor of business / commerce majoring in accounting
