About the RoleThis exciting opportunity will see you providing clinical leadership and specialty psychiatry services within a dedicated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in the Brisbane area. Along with providing quality clinical services, this role will also see you contributing to the overall ongoing development of mental health services with a strong focus on integrated and recovery-oriented service delivery.Responsibilities associated with this position include providing clinical governance and support to the multidisciplinary team; psychiatric assessment, treatment and management of young people living with mental illness and supporting their families and carers; supervision, training and education for registrars, junior medical staff, medical students and other professional staff; quality improvement and research activities; and participation in the after-hours on-call roster and ECT roster as required.About the areaThis region combines the best of city living with a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere.
