- You'll assess claims in line with best practices and relevant guidance, including the Claims Audit Charter.
- You'll minimize claim costs by ensuring accurate settlements and timely recovery referrals.
- You'll leverage preferred Cost Containment services to secure optimal savings on large unpaid US and Canadian bills.
- You'll deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders within company guidelines.
- You'll be managing high-cost and high-risk claims, so you've got to be resilient.
- You'll have excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor your style depending on the audience
- You'll bring knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act and General Insurance Contracts Act as applicable to the role.
- You'll have experience as an Insurance Claims Officer or Specialist (minimum 12 months preferred).
- You'll demonstrate strong skills in complaint resolution, along with excellent written and verbal communication.
- You'll understand insurance processes and legislation, supported by a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- You'll have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively while working under pressure.
