- Establish and oversee comprehensive credit risk management frameworks to manage the company's real estate investments.
- Analyse and assess the creditworthiness of potential investments, clients, and counterparties using data-driven methods and tools.
- Monitor real estate portfolio performance and provide actionable insights on emerging risks to senior management.
- Partner with internal teams (e.g., underwriting, financial modelling, origination, legal) to structure transactions aligned with corporate risk appetite.
- Design and implement metrics, models, and reporting frameworks for continuous assessment of credit risk.
- Deliver detailed presentations and reports to leadership on portfolio performance, risk exposure, and market trends.
- Stay ahead of industry best practices around credit risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications such as CFA, FRM preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in credit risk management, preferably within the real estate sector.
- A strong command of credit analysis tools, modelling, and methodologies for evaluating complex real estate portfolios.
- Excellent understanding of market dynamics, lending principles, and investment analytics in real estate.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with teams and present findings effectively.
- Proven ability to balance business development goals with risk management safeguards.
- Proficiency in risk modelling software, Microsoft Excel, and data interpretation tools.
