12 month, fixed full-time Trauma Fellow. The appointment will be a 0.5 FTE at the Trauma Service and General Surgery for 0.5FTE.Benefits:
- Excellent base salary
- 12% super (from 1st July 2025)
- 17.5% annual leave loading bonus

A 360-bed teaching hospital, this facility is a leading provider in healthcare that provides a large range of services in all specialty areas. In addition, outreach specialist and allied health services, rural and remote regions and clinical and retrieval support to regional hospitals, teaching and reference services for northern Australia and Southeast Asia, with rural and remote medical training placements, pharmaceutical services for the hospital and surrounding community area, 24 hour emergency and critical care and support for air medical service, and renal satellite services. This position will support the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre Trauma service and the Department of Surgery.The Requirements:
- Eligibility for registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Medical Board.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons or equivalent
- Previous experience or interest in the management of Severe Burns / Thoracic surgery (Desirable)
- Previous Fellowship or experience elsewhere applicable to Trauma care.
