Manage daily tasks for a team of technicians.
Oversee technician productivity and efficiency.
Prioritise repair orders for timely completion.
Assist with technical problem-solving.
Suggest additional work to the Service Advisor team for customer notification.
Ensure repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures, seeking clarification when needed.
Lead qualified technicians and apprentices to optimise service delivery.
Ensure all work meets manufacturer benchmarks.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Assist in setting and achieving service sales and profit objectives.
Control workshop activity to maximise profitability.
What we are looking for:Relevant trade qualifications and hands-on automotive experiencePrevious Workshop Controller experience highly regarded, but not essentialHold a current and valid driver’s licenseStrong time management skills with a reliable and punctual work ethicProven ability to lead and motivate a teamMVTC (Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate) is essentialAir-Conditioning License preferred, but not mandatoryASCIS & AUVIS Licenses desirable, but not essentialHigh level of care, attention to detail, and pride in workmanshipExcellent communication skills - both verbal and writtenStrong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all procedures and standardsWhat will you receive?
