- A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent);
- Energetic and committed team member;
- Knowledgeable of NQF and EYLF, Inquiry Based Learning;
- Understanding of Reggio Emilia Approach and Nature Education;
- Nurturing and friendly interaction with children, dedicated to the pastoral care;
- Embrace and bring to life the ELC philosophy;
- Proven flexible, collaborative teamwork skills;
- Proactive in the use of emerging technologies in an ELC setting; and
- Lead and improve a high-quality educational program aligned with NQS and service values.
- Support educator growth through mentoring and reflective practice.
- Engage families in learning and decision-making to strengthen child development.
- Build community connections to foster belonging and citizenship.
- Allocated planning and assessment time off floor;
- Payment in the ordinary course for absences from the ELC during non-term weeks;
- Participation in the College’s Professional Development and mentoring from AISSA and other agencies; ·
- Above regulations teacher-to-child ratios, with the support of Inclusion funding and additional educators to support child inclusion;
