About the roleWe are looking for a Truck Driver - Store person to join the close-knit team on a casual basis.Flexibility is valued at Elders and candidates seeking a part-time role are encouraged to apply.As an Elders Truck Driver - Store person, you will provide logistics support to the Branch rural products team, including receiving and dispatching stock in a safe manner. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.ResponsibilitiesAs a Truck Driver – Store person, you will:
  • Provide a complete delivery service for getting rural products to clients.
  • Perform the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock in a safe manner.
  • Assist with stock take and other rural products logistics support activities as needed.
  • Performing rural products sales (in store) as well as general shed and yard duties
About youTo succeed at Elders, you will have;
  • Basic knowledge of general merchandise products and safe storage & handling practices.
  • Customer Service skills (desirable).
  • A driver's licence required
  • Truck licence preferrable
  • Must be able to safely operate a 4WD towing large trailers loaded with heavy agricultural supplies.
  • A Forklift Licence, or the willingness to become licensed after undertaking training offered by Elders
