Join our kitchen team as an Apprentice Pastry Chef and learn from experienced chefs while completing your formal apprenticeship. This is a position available for someone currently enrolled or willing to enrol in a Pastry Apprenticeship course.What you'll do:
  • Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, cakes, and desserts for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, and banquet service.
  • Learn and apply pastry skills and techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs.
  • Support preparation, stock rotation and portion control to minimise wastage.
  • Work according to daily production sheets and contribute to efficient service delivery.
  • Be actively involved in training opportunities and commit to learning the pastry trade.
  • Supporting the team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment in line with HACCP standards.
QualificationsWhat we're looking for:
  • Genuine passion for pastry and baking.
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn with high attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
