Catering HQ is seeking a dedicated and committed Apprentice Chefs to join our amazing kitchen teams at our Venues across NSW. We have opportunities in both Restaurant and Function/Event Kitchens.THE BRANDCatering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 13 fabulous venues across Sydney. We believe in striving for excellence at all times and pride ourselves on having an experienced and dedicated team who love their work and their work environment. At Catering HQ we are always looking to adapt to evolving market trends for our restaurants, cafés and events. This allows our menus and décor to be fresh, interesting and inviting to our guests. We are known for delivering high quality meals and exceptional customer service.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of our experienced chefs
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace
Rotate through different styles of cooking in our venues outlets
Learn a variety of roles in the kitchen
Learn and apply safe food handling and hygiene practices
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods
Embrace the opportunity for career progression within the culinary field

KEY QUALITIES

Enthusiasm for food and a strong desire to pursue a career as a Chef
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skill
Passion to learn and grow in the company
Currently enrolled in Commercial Cookery Course or enrolling in next intake
