As a Gawler Aquatic Centre Lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety of our patrons, responding to first aid and emergency situations, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also assist with the daily operations and cleanliness of the Centre, ensuring a high standard is maintained.Key Duties:
- Actively supervising all pools and ensuring the safety of patrons
- Promote the Watch Around Water principles to the public
- Respond to first aid and emergency situations as per training and procedures
- Attend team meetings and training sessions
- Ensure compliance with safe work practices and WHS policies
- Assist with the effective operation and cleanliness of the Centre
- Provide high levels of customer service and positively promote Centre programs to patrons and members of the local community.
- Handle cash accurately and undertake reception duties as needed
- Provide First Aid
- Pool Lifeguard
- CPR
- Working With Children Check
- AUSTSWIM or equivalent Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Qualification
- Pool Plant Operator
- Child Safe Environments/Mandated Notification
