- 3-5 years post admission experience where you have ideally had exposure to civil litigation, personal injury claims and an interest in health and medical negligence work. Experience from a plaintiff background will be considered.
- Experience working with, and analysing, high volumes of medical evidence.
- Excellent researching and drafting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Firmly established time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the legal issues relevant to the practice of health and personal injury law and a demonstrated ability to understand and respond to the commercial objectives of clients.
- This role requires an eye for technical detail but also the ability to provide legal advice in a commercial context. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in plain English with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels of seniority.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to deal confidently with clients directly and foster client relationships.
- Time management skills and proven ability to prioritise multiple active matters at any one time.
- Capacity to problem solve and think laterally.
