These roles are ideal for someone with broad experience in public administration, a strong strategic mindset, and a hands-on approach to managing people, processes, and community outcomes.You will work closely with elected officials, community stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver results in areas such as service delivery, project planning, compliance, and resource management.Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective services and projects
Develop and implement strategic and operational plans aligned with council goals
Oversee budgets, contracts, and risk management in line with governance frameworks
Build strong relationships with community groups, businesses, and government partners
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Support the continuous improvement of services, systems, and staff performance
Advise and collaborate with executive leadership and elected members on key initiatives

About YouTo be successful, you will bring:

Proven leadership experience in local government, public administration, or a similar environment
Strong knowledge of local government functions, frameworks, and compliance requirements
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery
Financial and project management capabilities
Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, politically-aware setting
Relevant tertiary qualifications in public administration, business, management, or a related field
