
Tax Accountant

- Prepare and review complex tax returns and compliance documents for individuals, businesses, and trusts
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimise client tax positions
- Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of services
- Manage and develop client relationships, understanding their needs and providing proactive solutions
- Keep up to date with tax legislation and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments and external advisors to provide integrated financial solutions
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax provision calculations as needed
- Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to firm growth
- CPA qualification (Certified Practising Accountant) is mandatory
- Proven experience in tax accounting, compliance, and advisory
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Xero software and MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
